Commuters travelling through central Delhi face major disruption on Saturday after the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation ordered the closure of 18 stations from 7.30 am until further instructions.
The Airport Express Line has also been curtailed. Trains will operate only between Dhaula Kuan and Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25 while the restrictions remain in force.

DMRC cited operational reasons for the closures. The advisory comes amid continuing student demonstrations at Jantar Mantar over the NEET paper leak controversy and heightened security across central Delhi.

Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House and Central Secretariat are included among the 18 closed stations, but passengers already travelling on the Metro can continue to change lines at these three hubs.
Entry and exit will not be permitted at the stations.
The arrangement is intended to preserve connectivity between Metro corridors while restricting movement into sensitive areas of central Delhi.
The following stations will remain closed from 7.30 am until further instructions:
